My cutie BFF Caroline recently traveled from my old stomping grounds in sunny San Diego to go on an eating and drinking binge with me up here. Caroline and I became fast pals, and not having her constant companionship has been rough- missing those wine and homemade taco nights, her taking the pup out and bringing me food when I had a back spasm, and all the in-betweens.
When you only have a day or two to gossip, sip, and play catch up for five months apart, the days have to be packed and special. We cruised the Farmer’s market with the pup Saturday AM, dinner and drinks with friends at Fiorella SF, and my classic Sunday Funday out in the Mission with salads and Baklavah soft serve at Souvla.
